We offer programs for children 1 year to 6 years old
Wobblers Program (1-2 years):
In our Preschool Program, children engage in hands-on, play-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, problem-solving, and early academic skills. At this age, we focus on developing language and literacy, social-emotional skills, and creative thinking. Children are encouraged to explore through guided activities, and begin learning foundational concepts in math, science, and early reading while interacting with their peers and developing friendships.
Toddler Program (2-3 years):
Building on the foundation laid in the earlier toddler years, this program encourages further development of motor skills, language acquisition, and social skills. Through structured play, children are introduced to routines and activities that help develop basic concepts, including colors, shapes, and simple numbers, all while promoting self-expression and autonomy.
Preschool Program (3-4 years):
Our Toddler Program provides a warm, nurturing space where young children can explore and develop essential skills. Through sensory activities, play, and guided interactions, toddlers begin to build independence, refine motor skills, and engage in early social interactions with peers. At this stage, we focus on emotional development, communication, and fostering a sense of security and confidence.
Kindergarten Program (4-6 years):
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program prepares children for the transition to formal schooling. This program focuses on critical thinking, early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving. Children engage in more structured learning while still enjoying play-based activities that foster creativity and social-emotional growth. We emphasize early math skills, phonics, and beginning reading to ensure a smooth transition into primary school.
Enrichment Activities:
At all stages, we offer enrichment activities such as art, music, and physical education. These activities promote well-rounded development, encouraging creativity, coordination, and teamwork. Music and movement foster expression, while art encourages fine motor skills and imaginative thinking. Physical education helps build strength, coordination, and teamwork, ensuring each child grows in a balanced and holistic way.

Motor Skills Development:
Both fine and gross motor skills are honed through activities such as drawing, building with blocks, dancing, and outdoor play. These activities help children improve hand-eye coordination, balance, and overall physical strength.
Social-Emotional Development:
We encourage positive interactions and emotional growth through group activities, role-play, and collaborative tasks. Children learn empathy, teamwork, and effective communication, all while building lasting friendships.
Creativity and Expression:
Through art, music, and imaginative play, children explore their creativity and self-expression. These activities foster imagination, emotional expression, and an appreciation for the arts, all of which contribute to a well-rounded educational experience.
Cognitive Development:
Children engage in activities that stimulate their curiosity and problem-solving abilities. This includes hands-on learning with puzzles, games, and early literacy activities, helping to build critical thinking and early academic skills.

If you’re choosing childcare for the first time, you don’t have to have it all figured out. Start with a tour, and we’ll walk you through the rest.
Our ratios are intentionally lower than state requirements so children get more individual attention.
We gather detailed information before your child’s first day and keep it visible in the classroom.
Each age group has its own daily rhythm, but you can expect a balance of free play, guided learning centers, outdoor time, meals, naps, and cozy connection moments like stories and songs. During your tour, we’ll share a sample schedule for your child’s classroom.
Some age groups do fill quickly, especially infants. Many families tour 1–2 months before they need care. If your ideal start date is flexible, we’ll share openings and waitlist options during your visit.
If you decide Grandma's House & Child care is a great fit, you can reserve your spot during your tour.
Still wondering about something specific? Mention it in your tour request and we’ll be sure to cover it.
